Architecture for Humanity – Matress Recycling Competition
The competition, Discarded Dreams, invites designers to take mattresses (40 million of which are thrown into landfills each year) and turn them into a new, recycled product.
We are looking for students and professionals to come up with a cohesive step by step guide to break down the old product and re-create a new one. Winners get $1000, and will have an opportunity to have their product implemented at a large scale!
Our jurors are from ID Magazine, Core77, FUSEpeoject, and other acclaimed professionals in the field!
